University Fernando Pessoa (UFP) participated on project WaRe – Waterfront Regeneration, a learning partnership that brought together international organizations involved in the evaluation of the renewal of waterfronts projects of the 21st century.
Besides UFP, there were involved the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), the Foundation for the Museum of New Art, from Pärnu (Estonia), the Charles University, from Prague (Czech Republic) and the International Centre Cities on Water, from Venice (Italy).
WaRe was financed by the EU Grundtvig program and ended on the 31st of July of 2013. The results of the project were published in a digital booklet entitled Blue Frontiers Comparing Urban Waterfront Redevelopment.
