What: Exhibition: Serralves Park in macro II

“This exhibition renews the opportunity to observe Serralves Park beyond what can be naturally observed with the naked eye.

This exhibition of large format images showcases macro photography. This technique aims to capture the details of small objects or small living things, which are often invisible to the naked eye. The fauna and flora of the Park are highlighted in a vast and unexplored universe, causing admiration and amazement amongst the general public for this hidden “other world” that surrounds us.

Serralves Park has been listed as a National Monument since 2012, and was recently identified in “The Gardener’s Garden” (Phaidon) as one of the world’s 250 most remarkable gardens. By means of this exhibition, the Park offers the general public an additional reason to spend more time in this unique space.

The exhibition will once again include the winning images of the competition open to any participant to capture his or her Park, in macro.”
