At Serralves Bruce Altshuler will discuss the growing importance of the history of exhibitions and presents the major developments in the exhibiting of contemporary art since 1960. Followed by a conversation with Suzanne Cotter, Director of the Serralves Museum, the lecture launches the publication: Biennials and Beyond — Exhibitions That Made Art History: 1962–2002.
